Here’s an example the “Two Column-Post Right” page template. In this example, the post area appears to the RIGHT of the primary sidebar.

For this demonstration, comments have been hidden, but you can easily enable them via the “quick edit” option in your “Pages” editing area.

Remember that on a 2 column page, the sidebar is actually the “Primary Widget Area” in your “Widget” editor (under the “Appearance” tab.) Be sure that you have added content or widgets to your Primary Widget Area if you want to see any content in the sidebar when you use this Two Columns No Comments template

Having template pages with the comment area suppressed gives you flexibility without requiring you to suppress comments throughout the entire site AND without having to add yet another plugin to do the job for you!
