Welcome To Our Demo Site!

Welcome to our demo site for Bizwebery Art Nouveau WordPress Themes!

At this time, most of the themes are based on the artwork of Czech graphics artist, Alphonse Mucha (approximately pronounced “Moo-Ha”), who was born in 1860 and died in 1939.

Mucha was a prolific artist and designer, and he is considered the “father” of the Art Nouveau movement. Perhaps surprisingly to us, much of his artwork was used for commercial purposes: Champagne posters, biscuit or cookie packaging, etc. Today, the cost of creating such elaborate designs (by hand) for a commercial product would, most probably, be entirely impossible to sustain.

In the spirit of the Art Noveau era, where elaborate and intricate designs were “de rigueur” I have spent many, many hours on each of my themes, creating elements, coloring, patterning, detailing, and adjusting layouts. Each theme is painstakingly styled; every element has been colored, formed, beveled, decorated, and, hopefully, nothing has been overlooked! (And if you DO find something that’s been overlooked, please let me know!)

On many of my Art Nouveau themes, I have anchored a famous Mucha graphic to the left of the screen. As the screen is scrolled, the graphic remains in place. In addition to that, the blog sheet is attached to the right edge of the graphic, and expands to the right as the screen size changes. This means that the beautiful Mucha graphic is always visible, regardless of the device used to view the blog. These “left-anchored” themes include “Mucha Moon,” “Mucha Morning Star,” the Pink, Blue and Pink-Blue Champagne themes, “Mucha Benedictine,” “Mucha Indigo,” “Mucha Reverie du Soir,” and, of course, the immensely popular “Mucha Amethyst” theme!

On other themes, such as the Mucha Champenois set and the Mucha Chansons set, the gorgeous Mucha graphic has been modified to fit the header. Again, these themes are fluid and responsive and will expand or contract to fit whichever device is used to view them.

Please note that our themes with anchored left background image are designed to be viewed on devices that display in LANDSCAPE mode (i.e., the width of the screen is longer than the height).

I sincerely hope that you will enjoy exploring (and perhaps using) these Mucha-series Art Nouveau themes as much as I have enjoyed creating them for you!

May the spirit of Alphonse Mucha live forever–whatever the medium!

Sincerely,

Lady BizWeb
